Yes.. Yes.. this is my first CON. I will be all over looking for new friends and networks. I am an Atlanta Photographer working with a couple of groups there. Hope to see you all. Any costumes looking for serious photos hit me up. I am staying somewhere in the Hyatt. Find me, drink with me... but go easy its my first time.

I will also have my computer hooked up for anyone going digital. You can burn disk or print, Just bring a card reader if its not Compact flash.

I've been going through the grid higlighting things i'd like to see and things i Have to see. So far the only things i Have to catch are Lynn Flewelling and Jacqueline Carey. I'm also Really looking forward to seeing Voltaire, Emerald Rose, and especially Faith and the muse perform.
I'd forgotten just how much is going on constantly at DragonCon. Swirling through the weekend are Comics and art, LoTR, Narnia, Bab 5, and morning cartoons. All of which i'd like to catch, but i know better than to set it in stone. Not to mention the constant action in the Dealers room, the exhibit hall, and the concourse. It makes my heart go pitty pat.

8 more hours of work and then i'm DragonCon bound (i guess i should pack first). I'll see you all there!

I had a tentative offer of a ride from Kansas to Dragon Con, but that person deleted the comment in which he/she offered. I have an arm injury that means no way can I drive all the way there myself, thoguh I can kick in for gas and hopefully share driving duties.

I've got everything taken care of except transportation there and back.

Does anybody know anyone going to Dragon Con from New Orleans? s0ni had her ride up fall apart at the last minute, and is in dire straits.

Due to the work of some amazing friends, I may be able to attend the con when I didn't expect to.  Here's the situation (yeah, it's last minute):  one friend buys all of our badges each year.  We just retreive them and pay him back, because he's a good guy like that.

This year, though, he bought a badge for his girlfriend and, of course, they broke up.  Now there's a badge that's paid for, but as far as I know, it has her information even though he paid for it.  For obvious reasons, she may not fill out the transfer form, but she didn't pay for it anyway.

Do we have any way to reconcile this badge for someone else?  We tried calling the office, but it is closed this close to time.  Any help would be much appreciated.
