Costume Weapons Policy

I was just wondering if anyone knows what the policy is on weapons with costumes? I don't mean actual working guns and stuff ('cause I'm sure those aren't allowed), but props.


My friend and I are putting together a costume and would like some prop weapons to complete the look, but we're not sure if we'll be allowed to carry them around. Is it okay if the "guns" are very obviously fake? Does Security frown on props being too realistic?

Sorry if this isn't making much sense, but if anyone knows it would be a big help. :)
