I have a LJ community as well (look in my user info for the link), but with more and more people switching to Facebook, LJ seems like it won't work very well. If you want to tell me how, though, I'll set up a Yahoo group.
And, yeah, we definitely need fandom groups here. I'd like this to turn into something like the Atlanta Browncoats, 501st, or the Wolfpack Elite, but for Tolkien fans.
