Hey guys - I'm having registration problems and I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction in terms of solving them . . .
Okay: in February, I bought two Dragoncon memberships via Paypal, for $50 each. One for me and one for my fiance. As soon as I paid for the first one (mine), I realized I'd left the pertinent info (name, address, etc.) off of the 'notes' field on the Paypal order. So, when I ordered my fiance's pass, I put his info in the notes field, then included a little message about how another membership had been ordered with this credit card moments before, and that I'd left my info off; I included my info on that one.
I felt nervous about ordering them that way, so I went to the 'Contact' section of the Dragoncon.org page, and emailed the address listed for registration issues (Gus Furlong) about what had happened. I never heard back from him, so I assumed everything was fine.
So, back in March we had one registration card arrive, and it had my name on it. We waited a couple of weeks, and Stu's never came. I posted here asking about the cards arriving at different times, and everyone told me it was normal, which didn't surprise or bother me.
But a couple of weeks ago, when it had been well over a month since my card arrived, I emailed Gus Furlong again. He still hasn't responded . . . so I thought I'd ask here. What should I do? Am I worried over nothing? Is it still normal at this point for his membership not to have arrived yet?
I checked my bank statement and I definitely got charged for two memberships.
