Most of the football crowd that I encountered this year consisted of families and couples who mostly asked polite questions about the con. My friends, however, did have a run-in with some bro-type assholes while they were in costume, but unfortunately it was at a restaurant off-site, so the lack of badges was rather moot. They were at the Mexican place across from the Westin on...Friday night, I think? And some dudebros thought it would be fun to heckle them while they ate :\
