I wish people would use your logic and morals in life, however it's about money ultimately. That is why they choose DragonCon people. They make more money of Rack Rate folks. Secondly, the reason they chose the OMNI most likely is that is saves them money over the other host hotels that have availability. It's probably cheaper to comp them one night at Omni than Westin, but still using that business decision to throw up their hands and say 'Hey we are throwing you a bone..your reservation has simply been moved'. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
