Meantime, Boingo offers $9.95/month instead of $9.95/day (or more) service, which covers the Atlanta Marriott Marquis as well as lots of airports. There are also Starbucks locations with free Wi-Fi nearby.
And yes, I'm not sure of the price, either, but MARTA between the airport and the mall/hotels is easy. Just make sure you don't have more luggage than you can easily carry or otherwise wrangle.
