12 hotel in downtown

Hey just wanted to see if anyone had tried the 12 hotel in downtown. I know that there are lots of Baymont and Wyndham refugees out there, and the hotel is about the same distance as the Wyndham. They are right next to the Civic Center marta station.

Westin: host hotel?

I've heard quite a lot of rumors lately from people claiming to be "in the know" that the Westin may be added as a host hotel this year. I know that all the Whedonverse events will be held at the Westin, so it only makes sense. I'm staying there this year and I would love for it to be a host hotel, if for no other reason than DCTV. However, I've emailed the person in charge of DCTV and was told that the Westin isn't set up to receive their broadcasts. So that would point in the direction of the hotel NOT being a host hotel, at least not this year.

Anyone hear anything along these lines?
