A thought...

I sent this to a few of the D*C yahoo groups (dc_parade, DragonCon, and DragonConStaff) and now I'm thinking mebbie this would have been a better location, but anyway...
While I think that this advert (http://us.blizzard.com/diablo3/community/merchandise/gamerblanket/index.xml) is probably a joke that is typical of Blizzard, it does make one think.
Anybody down for doing a themed Snuggie en mass, and if so, how do you all think we should organize it? Dragon*Con is known for costuming and frankly I think this would be a) good publicity and b) fun. It doesn't all have to be the same theme, but it has, apparently, to be the same color.
The record right now appears to be 20,000 set March 7, 2010 by a bunch of Cavs fans according to a quick Google search. I don't know if we could break those numbers, but it sure would be fun to try. We've got a little over four months to organize if we're going to do it, and it would be hilarious to do this on Saturday afternoon after the parade or something along those lines.
According to the article on ESPN:
Girton said he was looking for four parameters in order for the record to become official: At least 250 people have to participate, they must all wear their own Snuggie, they need to wear it for five minutes and they all must be the same color.
