I just got mine in the mail today! Exciting!!!!

It looks like Malcolm McDowell will also be a guest this year. I haven't noticed any other suprises yet but I literally just got it and that's the first thing I saw.

Dragon Con progress reports

As you all have heard, the progress reports are in the mail. Please keep in mind one thing, if you receive one in the mail it does not necessarily mean you have a membership for this year. It means you have had a membership in the past few years.

Also if you are buying through Ticketmaster, we ask you to fill out a membership form while in line for our computer system. There is a version of this form on the back page, fill it out and it should speed up your line a little.

Awards Banquet

Okay so I have never been to the Awards Banquet.  What happens there other than the sit down dinner?  Is there a show?  How do you find out which celebraties would be going to the banquet?  I would hate to get my ticket only to find out that no one I knew or didn't follow as a fan is the only folks going to be there. 

I ask here only because you guys are my "IT" source for anything that needs to be known about D*C.  If I have to find out who's coming, cancelling, going to what party, you are the ones to check in on.

Costuming ideas

Hi everyone. I'm getting so excited for Dragon*Con this year. We had such a great time last year. I've got a question. Actually really I just need some costume ideas. I'm drawing a blank. Here's my deal. This year at Dragon*Con I'll be a little over 5 months pregnant and probably showing a bit at that point. Last year I did the slave Leia costume and had so much fun in it, unfortunately I can't wear that this year. Does anyone out there have any ideas for a pregnancy costume? I know I could do Padme but I don't sew and I don't want to have my mom make something that elaborate with such short notice. Is there any thing else out there that would work? Would appreciate any suggestions.

photo ops with celebs

I saw were froggy photos is doing the photo ops with the celebs this year. Are those slow moving lines? I am only going to be at the con for one day and there is so much I wanna do. Thanks for the info.
