Anyone interested in joining us for our Night at the Museum costume group? Any character from either of the two films is acceptable. Many of the main cast is claimed, but we still have two big, main character openings if anyone is interested: Security Guard (Ben Stiller's Character) and Jedediah (Owen Wilson).

To see the details, please the entry in my journal.

We'd love to make our group as large as possible, so please just contact me if you're interested in joining!

Other suggestions for characters still available are: Octavious, Napoleon, Ivan the Terrible, Wright Brothers, Oscar the Grouch, The Thinker statue, Tuskegee (sp?) Airmen, WWII Navy Dress Blues (the black & white painting scene), Able the astronaut monkey, Mission Control workers, Astronaut, Museum Tour Guide, Capone's goons, Attila the Hun's goons, Lewis & Clark, Rexy, Columbus, Cecil (Dick Van Dyke), Einstein, Ahkmenrah (Egyptian dude from the first movie), Neaderthals, Pilgrims, Museum Director (Ricky Gervais), etc...

Hello All!

Dragon *Con is quickly approaching and along with it, the 8th Annual Dragon*Con parade. On the morning of September 5th, hundreds of convention goers will take to the streets for yet another a grand display that honors the cherished figures of our subculture and beyond. S2H has featured exciting things such as Allied and Axis soldiers, jeeps, armored vehicles, pin-up girls and much, much more. The only thing we're missing is you! I'm selling a bunch of old costumes on ebay to help raise cash towards my Dragon*con trip. They all have low starting bids, and are of excellent quality.

All the auctions can be found here.

Thanks for looking!

I'm coming in early on Thursday and was wondering if there was anything going on. Meeting for lunch, go somewhere. Anything to keep occupied until registration.

Many of you may know NeedCoffee from the panels they have done in XTrack or Brit Track, even a couple in YA Lit Track.  If you don't know them from there, maybe you've gone to their Gonzo All-Night Show where they have interesting snippets and things you don't see on YouTube - plus give out lots of swag. :)

Well, if you do know them, they are asking for help completing a survey.  I did it and it took less than 3 minutes.  If you can do it, they would appreciate it.

They send their thanks in advance.

This year the Salute II History parade group will be fielding multiple military vehicles but we have no idea where to park these beasts before and after the parade. Considering the size and nature of these vehicles, we'd like to pin point an appropriate location to keep them.

Suggestions anyone?
