Marriot questions

Hey....This year will be my first year staying at the Marriot. Does anyone have any pictures of the rooms? I'm trying to get an idea of what I'll be in for. Are they generally nice & clean rooms? I know there are pics on the Marriot website, but those kind of things are usually made to look perfect so it's a little hard to tell.

Also, how is parking at the Marriot? I walked back and forth to the hotel several times the last two years but I don't remember seeing any parking lots/decks. Do I just pull up to the entrance (the one that's sort of like a half circle with fountains) and they come out and park for me?

the American Sci-fi track isnt opposed to the idea. But they also think there isnt enough audience out there.

Kawoni doing henna and costumes this year

Hi everyone!

I wanted / needed to get an early start this year - so we're taking costume / clothing orders now, and scheduling henna parties for DC weekend. If you need any henna design done and are worried about dry time then I'd recommend having it done the night before - plus - it lets you get a nice deep stain. We'll be arriving early and are happy to meet you wherever.

As for the costuming - I'm working on orders now and am happy to work more in. We'll be talking measurements and doing custom orders onsite again this year, but ordering now gets you your piece before this years con.
