DC Official Photos Have Returned

The Official Photo Gallery is back online with almost 12,000 photos (and counting)! The 2003-2006 galleries are complete, and we are still working on the 2007 gallery. We expect the 2007 gallery uploads to be completed by the end of the week. There may be some intermittent problems with the Photo Gallery as we continue to do our uploads.

Dragon*Con Van Service Question

Hello all. I may be staying at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, which is not too far from D*C's location (I think it's 2 or 3 blocks from the main D*C area)

However, I'm really worried about walking back at night to Wyndham Garden Hotel. I've heard that Dragon*Con has a van service. Has anyone ridden in the van and does anyone know how late the van service runs? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and I hope you all enjoy Dragon*Con. ^_^

 Hello all!

My name is Terry, also known as Teddy Stuffins, the Oblivious Man, Pooh Bear, and the Fat Jolly Admiral (while playing strategy games).   I am without a doubt an entire geek library in and of myself.  SciFi/Fantasy is my homeland, and I've read tons of series including Kushiels, Songs of Fire and Ice, Dragonlance, Star Wars, Anita Blake, Forgotten Realms, Stephen King, etc.  I roleplay like a madman, and if I haven't roleplayed it I will...this includes LARP White Wolf, D&D (Dark Sun, Ravenloft, Realms, etc.), Rifts, Star Wars, Shadowrun, Cyberpunk, and BUTTERY WHOLESOMENESS (If you know what that is, more props to you, gamer geek!).  I am very old school in my gaming, having a hard time adapting to the new REVISED, UPDATED, CRAP!  Pardon me, freaked out for a moment.  I'm also a psychology buff.  Religion, philosophy, politics, and ethics are my bread and butter.  I'm a dilettante when it comes to science, and I study it on the side with a greater than layman's knowledge, but hardly professional.  The same goes for a variety of topics.:)

*smiles*  So if you like the above, and want to get to know me, etc.  Then please do.  Myself, Wife, and Friends are attending the con this year, my fourth time going, but I have not been getting to really know anyone outside of my main group.  Would love to make this Con trip a wonderful and memorable one.:)  Feel free to ask questions!

Does D*Con have any Themed Formal Dances at night?  I know they do this at FairyCon (Good Fairy and Bad Fairy Dances) and thought it would be awesome for D*Con to feed us romantics.

Let me just say that if anything like this goes on at DragonCon, to me or anyone I know, or even to a perfect stranger when I happen to be within earshot, I promise I will kick the jerk in the balls with every ounce of my energy.

Not saying it's going to happen. Just sayin'.

Edit II: I admit I submitted this last night in a fury after first having read about this (it didn't post until this afternoon) -- I'm significantly less violently angry now. But still...don't, people. Not unless you KNOW the person you're asking is up for it.

It's already the time of year when I start paying off the credit cards to get ready for DragonCon. It's the only way I can actually afford it. :-) Also, if I clear out stuff now, I'll have more room for stuff I buy at DragonCon.
