For those outside ATL wondering about the D*C hotels in light of tonight's tornado...

Tornado passed two blocks south of the Hyatt/Marriott/Hilton going SE...no word on the Sheraton I know of...

A Natl Weather Service trained spotter staying on the 10th floor of the Hilton called into Ch. 11 in Atlanta and reported actually seeing the funnel cloud from his room facing the west...it was easy to make out from the downtown lights and he could see debris swirling well above the level of his room...

bad news is even worse storms are predicted for tomorrow...

any ATL folk with updated info post it here in this thread...
