Sheraton added as official host hotel

I was looking at the 'Host Hotels' page and noted it has been added. http://dragoncon.org/dc_location.php#Host_Hotels

We are pleased to announce the addition of the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel to the list of fabulous hotels hosting Dragon*Con 2008!

Dragon*ConTV will be available in all four hotels.

There is no room code as of now but the rate is $149 and you just have to mention the con when you call.

Airtran sale

If anyone is shopping for flights on the East Coast for D*C, I just spotted some nice sale fares on Airtran from BWI (Baltimore) to Atlanta, $81 each way, with tax $183 for the roundtrip. In my experience, this is a pretty good fare for the route. Airtran's not my fave, and I don't usually book so early because I fear getting screwed by schedule changes, but the "forecasters" are suggesting that fares could go up for the market if Delta merges with Northwest. I don't know how long they'll be selling at this price, or how many other routes are on sale, but it's usually not just one or two cities.
