Okay so, forgive me because this question is probably asked and answered 38274628 times in the coming months, but...

What is the policy on weapons at the convention? I'm thinking about dropping a lot of money on the Slayer's Scythe, and I'd really love to know if I could even walk around with the darn thing.

But what I'd REALLY love is a non-deadly, and cheaper version, so I dont have to worry, and could possibly go on a plane and whatnot. I've seen the prop replica, but has anyone seen one around, maybe fan-made that isnt so... axe-y? Or of a tutorial? Anything?

Permits aside, it's gonna cause an issue with a possible flight, and I'm not quite sure I trust myself with a blade of any sort.

Any help, and I'd owe you a life debt.
