Hey all - I've posted almost all of the new guests (my fingers hurt from typing - so it was time to stop). Anyway, they are up on www.dragoncon.org -- on the guests page. By the way, I've got no database or anything like that to work off of, so if anyone want to count them to see that the number of guests I list on the front page is correct, well, that would be useful.

Hey guys,

I hate to spam you with tons of stuff, but I plan to cross-post the hell out of this: my LJ, the DC YA Lit LJ, and both DC LJs.

My question is this: what are you dying to see in the Young Adult Lit track this year at Dragon*Con? It's a bit late to ask for guests (only about 90 days away- woot), so let's focus on programming. I'm wondering what you would like to see in regards to Harry Potter, Narnia, Lemony Snickett, and the like. Basically, we do stuff on good reading for teens in general.

What kind of panels would YOU attend? What do you want to talk about? What panels would you like your teenager to attend or participate in? Are you a teen yourself? What are you reading these days that you can't get enough of? I'd like to know what you'd like to see/hear/do this year.

Also, if you have a particular expertise in children's or young adult's literature, I'd love to hear from you too. I can use panelists!

Talk to me people.

Taken from Newsarama:
Also not confirmed on Wizard’s website, but sounding like a sure thing on the floor is the debut next year of a sixth WizardWorld, in Atlanta in June. Philadelphia marks the second time a report of such an additional show has surfaced, with indicators pointing towards Atlanta as much more likely than a WizardWorld show debuting in the Northwest in 2006.

If a sixth show is a reality in the late spring of 2006, it would undoubtedly push WizardWorld: Philadelphia back into May (possibly to where it would occur on the same weekend as BEA, as with this year, as BEA is moving to May in 2006 as well). Again, if an Atlanta show does occur, it will, as with all other Wizard shows, force shows in the same region to reassess their plans, timing, and guests, while a ripple effect will be seen throughout the entire convention schedule as other conventions adjust to allow time in between major shows.

Anyone know anything more concrete on this? How do you think it'll effect Dragon*Con if it's to happen?
