In regards to parking, Hotel parking isnt always easy, but there are some cheaper places in surrounding areas.

I paid about 5 bucks a day to park last year and it was only
about 2 blocks from the con. The walk wasn't bad. However, It was a little parking area where you just put your money in the mailbox slot thingy and there were at least two panhandlers a day who tried to convince me to give them the money instead in exchange for a dirty wrinkled strip of paper with a magical "parking" number on it.

If your not accustomed to that sort of thing, it's probably something something to watch out for.

Anyone else know of people/things to avoid or have better parking solutions?

I heard that there'll be a small area at the con devoted to Comic Books. Is there anybody here interested in comics?

The gracious Dragon*Con gods (aka: head management) have spoken!

I will be DJing on Sunday night and Sunday night ONLY! I will be playing High Energy House, Trance, Retro Rave, and Hardcore until the sun comes up. As usual, I always have a few other surprises up my sleeve (like sneaking in some 80's stuff)...but that is the main style I will be playing Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!

I finally have my room arrangements done and no longer will need to cuddle up with my turntables in the hallway. Badges have been bought too. This is a HUGE sigh of relief for myself and my road crew.

However, I have also been informed that DJs are not allowed Fan Tables. I assume that the reason behind this is because DJs are somehow still considered to be mere parlor acts who have no fans. Go figure. =/ So, in light of this information, I will once again making my CDs, T-shirts and other wares available through the British Media Track as usual! *Neener, neener, neener!* =P

As far as getting myself a simple listing on the Dragon*Con web site? So far, I have been bluntly rejected in getting the DJ listing(s) posted. I am still having to plead my case to management on that issue. More news on that as it comes.
