First time Con goers needing some help

My friend and I going to Dragon Con for the first time ever. Right now there are only the two of us so it makes it a bit harder to keep our hotel costs down. Can anyone point me in the direction of an LJ or forum where we might find other people coming from Portland, OR or some people interested in sharing a room? We don't have one booked yet, but we'll probably be doing it soon unless we can hook up with another group. Any info on staying in ATL would be appreciated! :-)
