Tattoos during DragonCon

Several people have posted and asked for suggestions on who to see for ink during the con.
I can't give my stronger support to Loki (Shane Defriece).
He is talented and professional. He has traveled quite a bit due to nationwide demand for his skilled needle.
Check out his site: http://inkjinx.com/

His contact info:
call loki to set up an appointment: (678) 891-9291
you can email him here: lokithirteen@yahoo.com
or find him on myspace.com - http://www.myspace.com/loki13

Anyway- he is currently thinking about being out of town for the weekend but if he gets appointments he'll stay here and sling in for all us wonderful freaks and geeks.
You won't be disappointed. He truly is astounding and will take the best of care of you and your art.

Wait, I'm confused; does he plan to tattoo at the convention, out of a hotel room?

Yeaaaaah... not exactly the most welcome location for an open abrasion wound.

Actually I've only gotten one of my four tattoos actually IN a tattoo shop and it was the only one that had a problem. It's about being sanitary, not about geographic location.

ANYWHERE can be cleaned properly. And ANYWHERE can be NOT cleaned properly, even when it's supposed to be monitored by the government for health standards.

I've never gotten a tattoo at a shop i wouldn't feel comfortable eating off of every surface. sounds like a shady shop to me.

Yeah but a hotel room? I wouldn't eat off a hotel bed, much less lay on one to get tattooed.

There was someone who tried that a few years ago, 12th floor of the Hyatt somewhere. Yeah...not so much.

I personally would suggest Marc Draven, who is looking to come to DC. Marc hosts numerous tattoo conventions, has tatted celebs, and anyone who has been to Eyecon, Tattoofest, the Twlight conventions, Megacon, or FX can vouch for the mans amazing work (He inked me at FX). He heads up all the tat artists at Screamfest as well. Http://www.dravenstattoo.com or look up Marc Draven on myspace or Facebook.
