Tattoos during DragonCon

Several people have posted and asked for suggestions on who to see for ink during the con.
I can't give my stronger support to Loki (Shane Defriece).
He is talented and professional. He has traveled quite a bit due to nationwide demand for his skilled needle.

Anyway- he is currently thinking about being out of town for the weekend but if he gets appointments he'll stay here and sling in for all us wonderful freaks and geeks.

Actually I've only gotten one of my four tattoos actually IN a tattoo shop and it was the only one that had a problem. It's about being sanitary, not about geographic location.

ANYWHERE can be cleaned properly. And ANYWHERE can be NOT cleaned properly, even when it's supposed to be monitored by the government for health standards.

I've never gotten a tattoo at a shop i wouldn't feel comfortable eating off of every surface. sounds like a shady shop to me.

Yeah but a hotel room? I wouldn't eat off a hotel bed, much less lay on one to get tattooed.

I think he would ask that you go to the shop. But he has been known to go to places if he can set up a sterile location. People tattoo at conventions a great deal. I am not the professional so I am unsure of the logistics.

I personally would suggest Marc Draven, who is looking to come to DC. Marc hosts numerous tattoo conventions, has tatted celebs, and anyone who has been to Eyecon, Tattoofest, the Twlight conventions, Megacon, or FX can vouch for the mans amazing work (He inked me at FX).
