New security check for DragonConForums

For those who are interested in creating a new account on Dragonconforums.org, I could use your help.  

I am trying something where people have to answer a crazy simple question in order to register and for their first post on the forum. If no problems with it, I will remove also having to have admin approval to activate (sending me an email).

If some people could try it out, let me know.  I will deactivate the admin approval for tonight, but if we have spammers overnight (which we might), I'll have to turn in "requires admin approval" back on while I try to figure out another way to combat these spam bots.

I didn't get the activation email. It said ot was sent, but never arrived.

hmmmnn... unless it is in your junk-mail folder, that should not be happening. I changed it to not needing the email for now.

If you/ others have that problem, I can approve you by hand in the system. Just email me the userID you created or what email address you used.

you might see if http://www.stopforumspam.com/ has a plugin for your forum package. I put it on my smf-based one, and it has blocked over 9k+ spam registrations in the last month or so.

I successfully registered. As you said, the admin approval was turned off at the time. I had no issues with the question or the alphanumeric security box.
