Last Call for D*C PARADE Pre-con Sign Ups!!!

Thinking about marching in the parade this year?  Planning on it but haven't a clue as to what needs to be done?  Here's the scoop.

Every member of Dragon*Con is welcome to participate and show off those incredible costumes and crowd pleasing talents.  Don't worry if you aren't part of an organized group - same fandom costumes march together in the same parade section.  This is a great way to make friends, btw. And, as a special bonus, you get a nifty ribbon to affix to your badge that says you participated!

We ask that you sign-up before the con starts.  Actually, we ask that you sign-up by AUGUST 20.  :)  And how do you do that?  Easy! 

• Use the email webform in the "Contact Us" section of the Dragon*Con web site (www.dragoncon..org)
  Use the pull down menu and find "Parade."
• Email us directly at dc_parade(at)dragoncon(dot)org or
• Join our Yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dc_parade/ and use the handy database form found there.

Get in touch with us and provide the type of costume you're planning, how many people you are registering, if you plan any 'performances' along the route (that's cosplay, music of any kind, etc.), and if you'll have a vehicle in the parade.  Once that's done, you're in!  You'll get a confirmation email from us about a week before con that explains the details (where to go, how to pick-up your ribbons, when to be there, etc.) for parade participation.
