 I donated blood at Dragon*Con and have yet to receive the information they said they'd send me, stuff like my blood type, cholesterol levels...etc. I was wondering, has anyone else who donated received their info yet?  Should I have received it by now or do they just have that many people to process?

I didn't donate at Dragon*Con, but my past experience with blood donation is that the information often takes a long time to get to you. For example, I just this week got the information from when I donated at the beginning of August.

When I first donated, it took about two or three months.

Life South works in several states it takes time. ^.^ You'll get a card with your information though.

I donated before the con and only got my info from the Red Cross last week. It takes quite a while!

It usually takes many months, no matter which agency handles the donation. I wouldn't worry about it.

I didn't receive any information from them in the mail, but I did call. I gave them my name, address, and date of donation and they were able to give me my blood type and cholesterol level.

When I donated last year, I ended up signing up on their website a few months later and all my information was there. I had a slip of paper they gave me with the info I needed.

Glad it looks like I haven't missed the info yet, I really want to know my blood type. :) I'll give the website or calling a try too. Thanks for all the responses!
