AFAIK, the Saturday day-passes actually did sell out. There was a sign to that effect in the Sheraton near on-site registration, and some of the volunteers mentioned it to me. I don't know what the numbers were, though.

If that's true, then it's great. Now for next year, they need to cap those Saturday badges UNDER what they capped them at this year for safety's sake.

I also saw a number of people wearing their Saturday-only badges on Sunday, but Sunday's badge checking was so lax or nonexistent that they were never caught I guess.

*nods* I am totally in agreement on the cap. I got stuck attempting to get out of the Marriott on Saturday. The crowding was bad, and I don't usually get anxious in crowds :(
