While I do like that it will cut down on people taking up rooms "just in case", for those people like me who can't get through the "no transfer" kills any chance for getting a con rate. It will have to keep rooms from selling out for a long time to make that part of the rule worth it. If cancelled reservations went back into the pool of Dragon Con rates, it would be one thing, but as soon as someone makes one and cancels, that room just goes back to the regular rate.
