Kate Mulgrew at Dragon*Con

Hi all,

I'm the webmaster for TotallyKate.com, Kate Mulgrew's official website. It was the first time for both Kate and I at Dragon*Con and I just want to thank all the Dragon*Con staff/volunteers and TrekTrak for a wonderful time.

Dear Connie,

I don't suppose you might have caught a picture of Kate speaking to the girl who wants to "take us to Mars"? She's a friend of mine and none of us ladies with her caught a picture, so I'm searching around in case anyone has one.

Sorry, I was sitting in front of the microphone where people asked questions so I didn't get any photos of them. Your friend was awesome!

I'll tell my friend that too! :) She was sooo excited and happy about it! It was so surreal and none of us thought to take a photo, we were mesmerised! :)

Connie, if you could pass along yet another thank you to Kate.
She was a gracious, vibrant guest who made the fans feel drawn in to her stories, not just observers. Along with a few other guests Kate is ALWAYS quick with a smile and a heartfelt "thank you for being a fan".
I hope to see her at con for many years to come.

I loved the panels with Ms. Mulgrew. I wasn't able to attend any because of the other con crazyness. My wife secured a signature, I'd have liked to say hello but it was fast and furious. I'll visit the webpage. Thanks for your efforts.

You rock so hard for doing this! I really want to hear the Sunday panel, as I loved the Saturday one. However, I am having trouble getting it to work in Firefox. It does work in IE (shudder), though. Just thought you might want to know. Maybe it's just me...who knows?

Anyway, thank you again and I'm thrilled that my first Dragon*Con was Kate's first Dragon*Con! I so very much enjoyed her talks. Thank you to all involved!

Glad you enjoyed Saturday's panel. Sunday's is great too. Kate really seemed to enjoy herself at Dragon*Con. I've been able to listen to both panels in IE, Firefox and Safari, as have quite a few others. I did have one person tell me they had trouble with Sunday's in Firefox. It may depend on how many people are trying to access the file at one time. Hope you get to listen to it, even if it's in the dreaded IE.

Yeah...I still can't get it to work in Firefox for me. It says I'm missing a plug-in and then says there are no plug-ins that will do. But it's no biggie. Works in IE fine. Guess I'll just have to suck it up and listen there. I did download the latest version of Firefox (I was an update behind) to see if that helped and it didn't change anything. But again, no biggie.

I was lucky enough to be in the room donating blood next to Ms. Mulgrew, and she even posed for a picture for the con while doing it! She's a class act, and very nice. I should have the picture up in a couple of days for you.
