I have a million examples of coolness during this convention. The geek tribe being willing to band together. It came through in giving directions, taking pictures for each other, turning in found badges, holding this for just a minute while she rearranges her costume, holding doors, physically hauling the wheelchair of a person you don't know up a short flight of stairs when the lift isn't working... and more generally (for the most part) not being jerks. Thank you, thank you all.
I am specifically posting this because I owe a debt. I was $5 short in the Mulgrew/Nimoy/Shatner ticket line, and you loaned it to me. I think your badge name said "Truexana", and it definitely had two pale ribbons on it, but LiveJournal seems to have neither an account named truexana nor truexanna. I ran downstairs to the ATM, but when I got back up you were nowhere to be found.
Thanks again, for everyone who made this a wonderful experience.
