Security Peacebonding Question

Heyla...throwing together last minute costumes (why do I always get these great costuming ideas ONE WEEK before con??) and have a peacebonding question.

This is a steel replica of a tri-barrel pistol. Its hammer does click back, but is otherwise non-functional; the barrels are solid steel. I have no holster or belt for it; I would be carrying it in my hand. How would I/do I need to peacebond this accessory? I don't want to bug security at the con unless I have to...they have enough to worry about. :-)
