Pre-registration

Hi guys,

What time does pre-registration usually stay open til on Thursday night? How late can you join the line? My flight gets in quite late on Thursday and I'm wondering if I'll have time to grab my badge that night or if I'll have to go on Friday.

Serious question from a first-time D*C attendee.

Dear Dragon*Con:

Am I going to stand out a mile, and am I going to look seriously out of place, if I don't wear any costumes at Dragon*Con?

I am hoping to make it this year, barring health problems, and it will be my first Dragon*Con, although it will be far from being my first convention.

With the travel I'll be needing to do, and the uncertainty of my accommodations, coupled with the fact that I'm really attending as a business matter [I'm scoping it out in my roles as retailer and as distributor], costuming just doesn't seem to be practical for me this trip.

Will I be stoned in the streets and hallways for being dressed in workaday attire?
