D*C Thriller Dance

Some folks out there have come up with the brilliant idea to get D*C into the Guinness Book for the largest group of folks doing the thriller dance all together at once. I don't think there's been a recent update from them but it would only take 243 people from what I understand and I'm sure this can be done. This is their facebook: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=94488259317 . If anyone knows more about this, I wanna  hear it! Especially with MJ passing, I'm sure the interest could be drummed up.

Hoping this isn't something that happens and I miss it.

Don't think we'd be breaking any records, but it sure would be fun if we could organize it.

all we need is 243 people and the space/documentation ect. to do it. It's possible.

How many people were in the prison one? I don't know if we could beat that... especially in finding the space.

Prison??? The record right now stands at 242, done by a school......William and Mary. That was back in May. Now unless someone has broken it since May, that's the official world record.

numbereleven means the inmates from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center in the Philippines. I think they didn't make the cut because only a few of them were doing all the dance moves.

Could be they didn't have the official Guinness witness there? I don't think it counts unless you do. Just video doesn't cut it.
